Founded by Olympian and Gold Medal winning Heptathlete Louise Hazel in 2019. SLAY is the only female-first performance gym in Los Angeles and was created with self-care in mind.
We understand that crucial to our journey is 'not how we look but how we feel.' She asserts that when we connect deeply to ourselves by taking ownership of our bodies and when we shift our focus from aesthetics to athletics, results are inevitable. SLAY exists for one sole purpose;
to ignite sustainable training for women worldwide!
In this space, we will teach you how to SLAY your training, but the most important lesson you will learn is how to take ownership of your body to transform your life.
When you are transforming your body you need 4 basic things;
You're going to learn how to train sustainably and consistently using the equipment and techniques adopted by Olympic athletes. You will learn what and how to eat, and together we will create your own nutritional plan. And finally you will learn how to optimize your recovery to maximize your results.
No matter which stage you're at we help you to address any obstacles that might prevent you from reaching your goals, unlike most gyms we take you out of "fight mode" and into "flow mode".
At Slay there is a greater emphasis on self-awareness, healing and long-term self-care.
Results after 12 weeks include 2.2% reduction in body fat, 7.6lbs of weight loss and increased muscle mass. Postural corrections take place as our clients grow in strength and athleticism! We addressed the fact that our client had been overtraining causing adrenal fatigue. The solution was to train less to achieve more.
We trained 4 days per week, and focused on developing muscular endurance whilst correcting form and posture. Alongside training we implemented a disciplined nutritional plan for our client who was still able to enjoy her daily digestive biscuits! Our client is enjoying training more than ever and is achieving the results she deserves!
